At the Corner of Magnetic and Main

Meg Dendler, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, has written a charming book, At the Corner of Magnetic and Main, that doesn't really fit the description of a cozy mystery, but is Southern in setting and has such a mysterious mood that it deserves recognition. Eureka Springs has its share of ghost stories, but Meg's book introduces us to a few more, making it possible to willingly suspend our disbelief and become engaged with the characters. We might even find ourselves questioning why these entities become stuck and can't seem to move on to the next level. By the way, the main character is totally believable and rather unforgettable, as well.

Meg is the author of the a award winning Cats in the Mirror series, written for middle grade readers. Her new book, At the Corner of Magnetic and Main, will appeal to a broad audience.
